I run a nonprofit multimedia studio and we have produced our first comic book that blends content from Second Life with real world content for kids. amoration.fotki.com/campdarfurcomix/
Camp Darfur Comix was designed to bridge the awareness gap on issues of genocide, displacement and current events in the Sudan. I would love your feedback! We produce quite a bit of CC content and are experimenting with CC distribution now. I also attend Free Culture events on Joi Ito's island in Second Life; look for In Kenzo if you find yourself inworld. There are many cc:released media items coming available now; www.archive.org is a great place to look for A/V materials.
