If you haven't already, www.magnatune.com is offering quite a bit of music under the Creative Commons license. As seen on Slashdot, Fark, and Metafilter! Some of it's good too. Also, BoingBoing has just released a similar story, an artist releasing his music on sliding scale and delivering proceeds to RIAA victims. (Oh and, hi everybody, this is my first post.)

Magnatune are ace, I did their "we are not evil" moniker.
Anyone see Lessig in London last week? He was ace, but it kind of skitted my brain that it was Morgan Stanley funded, and you couldnt get into the after party/shoulder shuffle unless you had an invite. Not that it was anything special when you were in there, but still...
